1. Introduction

TFilely ("we", "our", "us", "the Service") provides a web-based file management interface that interacts with Telegram through bot tokens you voluntarily provide. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your responsibilities regarding your data.

BY USING TFILELY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY IN ITS ENTIRETY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE SERVICE AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

  • Email address - for account creation, authentication, and service-related communication only.
  • Telegram bot tokens - provided voluntarily by you at your sole discretion and entirely at your own risk. Bot tokens are used directly in your browser to communicate with Telegram and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You are solely and exclusively responsible for creating, managing, securing, and revoking these tokens. You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with using bot tokens in any client-side application.
  • Payment information - processed exclusively by Stripe. We never receive, store, access, process, or handle your credit card numbers, bank account details, or any financial credentials whatsoever. We bear no responsibility for Stripe's handling of your payment data.
  • File metadata - file names, folder paths, file sizes, and Telegram message IDs are stored in our database to provide your file tree view. We do not store file contents.
  • Usage data - basic service interaction data (feature usage, error logs) used solely for maintaining and improving the service.

3. Information We Do NOT Store

TFilely acts solely as an interface to Telegram. We do not store, cache, copy, mirror, back up, index, or retain in any form:

  • Your file contents or any copy of your files. All file data resides exclusively on Telegram's servers and is subject entirely to Telegram's own policies, terms, availability, and discretion. We store only file metadata (names, paths, sizes, message IDs) to render your file tree.
  • Your Telegram messages, contacts, chat history, or any Telegram account data.
  • Credit card numbers, bank details, payment credentials, or any financial information (handled entirely and exclusively by Stripe).

BECAUSE YOUR FILES ARE STORED ON TELEGRAM AND NOT ON TFILELY INFRASTRUCTURE, WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ABILITY TO RECOVER, RESTORE, RETRIEVE, RECONSTRUCT, OR GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY, INTEGRITY, OR EXISTENCE OF YOUR FILES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO FILE DELETION BY TELEGRAM, BOT BANS, ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS, API CHANGES, SERVICE OUTAGES, OR ANY OTHER EVENT. YOU ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN INDEPENDENT BACKUPS OF ALL DATA AND FILES.

4. How Bot Tokens Are Handled

Your Telegram bot tokens are used exclusively within your browser. File uploads and downloads are performed directly between your browser and Telegram using the GramJS library. Bot tokens are not sent to or stored on TFilely servers. You can remove your bot tokens at any time from your account settings, which clears them from your browser.

NOTWITHSTANDING OUR SECURITY MEASURES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THAT:

  • Providing bot tokens to any third-party service, including TFilely, carries inherent risk that you voluntarily accept.
  • No security system is infallible. We do not guarantee that your tokens will never be compromised due to security breaches, system failures, or unforeseen events.
  • TFilely is not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of bot tokens, including but not limited to: Telegram account restrictions, suspensions, permanent bans, bot revocations, rate limiting, file deletion, data loss, or any other action taken by Telegram or any third party.
  • You are fully, solely, and exclusively responsible for complying with Telegram's Terms of Service, Bot API Terms, and all related policies at all times.

5. Third-Party Services

TFilely relies on third-party services, each independently governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and practices:

  • Telegram - for file storage and bot API access. TFilely is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Telegram or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.
  • Supabase - for user authentication and database storage.
  • Stripe - for payment processing and subscription management.

TFILELY HAS NO CONTROL OVER AND ASSUMES ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENT, PRIVACY POLICIES, PRACTICES, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, OR ACTIONS OF ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE. ANY DISRUPTION, DATA LOSS, ACCOUNT RESTRICTION, POLICY CHANGE, SERVICE TERMINATION, SECURITY BREACH, OR ANY OTHER EVENT CAUSED BY OR RELATED TO THESE THIRD-PARTY SERVICES IS ENTIRELY OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL AND RESPONSIBILITY. YOUR USE OF ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE THROUGH TFILELY IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies strictly for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising networks, or behavioral profiling. We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate service usage and improve reliability.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data (email, encrypted bot tokens, usage logs) for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will make reasonable efforts to remove your personal data within 30 days. Payment records may be retained as required by applicable law, regulation, or for accounting purposes.

ACCOUNT DELETION FROM TFILELY DOES NOT AND CANNOT DELETE YOUR FILES FROM TELEGRAM, YOUR TELEGRAM ACCOUNT, YOUR TELEGRAM BOTS, YOUR STRIPE PAYMENT HISTORY, OR ANY DATA HELD BY ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE. YOU ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING, DELETING, OR OTHERWISE HANDLING YOUR DATA ON ALL THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS INDEPENDENTLY. TFILELY HAS NO ABILITY OR OBLIGATION TO DELETE DATA ON YOUR BEHALF FROM ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE.

8. Assumption of Risk and User Responsibilities

BY USING TFILELY, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE THAT:

  • You use TFilely entirely at your own risk. The service is provided without any guarantees of any kind.
  • You are solely and exclusively responsible for complying with Telegram's Terms of Service, Bot API Terms, and all related policies. TFilely does not monitor, enforce, or verify your compliance.
  • You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content you upload, store, manage, access, or distribute through the service.
  • You are solely and exclusively responsible for maintaining independent backups of all files and data that are important to you.
  • TFilely is not responsible for any loss, corruption, deletion, or unavailability of your data, files, Telegram account, Telegram bots, or any other resource, regardless of cause.
  • TFilely is not responsible for any action taken by Telegram, Stripe, Supabase, or any other third party against your account, data, or access, for any reason.
  • You waive any and all claims against TFilely arising from data loss, account loss, file loss, service interruption, or any damages of any kind related to your use of the service.

9. No Guarantee of Service Continuity

TFilely depends on third-party services (Telegram, Stripe, Supabase) that may change their terms, APIs, policies, pricing, or availability at any time without notice. TFilely may be modified, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use of TFilely after any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with any updated terms, you must immediately stop using the service and delete your account.
